FRONT DESK AND HOUSEKEEPING POSITIONS OPEN

Marina Motel is a small boutique hotel with 39 rooms surrounding a quiet, flower-filled Mediterranean Courtyard, and we are looking for vibrant, part-time Front Desk, and Housekeeping team players with a "Let's find a solution!" attitude. We are looking for someone with a personality that loves to interact with people, and make our guests feel like they made the right choice in selecting our historic boutique hotel. Hotel experience a plus but not necessary. Many of our guests are international, so speaking another language would be great but not a must.
JOB DUTIES
Front Desk Duties include but are not limited to:
- Registering guests in and out of the motel.
- Money-handling and responsibility for shift accounting.
- Handling telephone calls and representing the hotel to potential guests.
- Providing concierge services for guests as a local of San Francisco.
- A small amount of both maintenance and housekeeping.
- Maintaining the hotel's and guest's safety while we are closed during sleepover shifts.
**We currently have two shifts available:
- Shift one: Friday 4p.m to 12am (Midnight) with a paid sleepover when the office is closed (overnight stipend), and Saturday 8am to 4p.m.
- Shift two: Saturday 4pm to 12am(Midnight) with a paid sleepover when the office is closed (overnight stipend), and Sunday 8am to 4p.m.
Housekeeping Duties include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning/Sanitizing of guest rooms, public areas, and all areas.
- Preparing and stocking cart with towels, amenities, laundry and garbage bags.
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed.
- Performs floor maintenance like shampoo carpets etc.
- A small amount of both maintenance and housekeeping
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
- The ideal candidate must be available for a flexible schedule any of 7 days.
